I’m a couple of weeks behind on sharing the Humane League of Lancaster County Pet of the Week so let’s catch up. This is Shevita!
Shevita is a playful and very friendly seven-year-old pittie mix who is excited to join an active and fun-loving family! She enjoys going on walks, trips to the park, and meeting new friends! Shevita is the kind of gal who thrives in a family setting. She is in her element when surrounded by people and she likes the company of other dogs too. Her previous owners report that she is house trained, she’s spayed, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. Shevita may have a little extra gray on her muzzle, but this lively pup is certainly no couch potato! She is ready to get started on the best and most fun years of her life in a family who make her feel very loved and cared for!
If you’re interested in learning more about Shevita you can visit the Humane League of Lancaster County during their adoption hours (be sure to check the website for hours), or email dogadoptions@humaneleague.com.

And this sweetheart, the orange kitty above, is Romeo. What a face!
As charming as his name, Romeo is a very handsome seven-month-old kitty waiting for a family to give him a lifetime of love! Although initially bashful when meeting new friends, all Romeo needs a soft touch and gentle reassurance, and he will shed his insecurities and give you his trust. Romeo is currently living with several other felines here at the shelter and really enjoys their company. In fact, from time to time, you might catch him snuggling with or grooming another feline friend. Stop by to visit with Romeo and let this shy sweetheart melt your heart today!

Good news! Previously featured cats Rory, Simon & Paul, and Bernie have been adopted! Previously featured dogs Shiva and Spring have also been adopted and Shuggie, featured quite a few months ago, was accepted into another rescue organization! Congrats to the lucky new families! 😀
