I’m a week behind on sharing these sweet pets looking for homes at the Humane League of Lancaster County. Let’s catch up starting with this purring furball, Rory!
Pretty little Rory can’t wait to become your faithful companion! This one-year-old kitty is a petite 6 pound sweetie who is friendly and curious about the world around her. She’s a very social yet free-spirited lady who will greet her visitors with soft meows and a gentle rub. Start petting her and she’ll tell you how much she appreciates the attention with plenty of purrs! When she’s not enjoying snuggles, Rory likes to spend her days peering out a window and playing with a few toys now and then. She has been living with several feline companions during her four-month stay at the Humane League, and given time to warm up to new friends, Rory enjoys the companionship. Rory is looking for a family who will adore her, and if they have a few great window seats and fun things to climb on, she’ll be one happy kitty! Now this guy just looks like he’s smiling. I love it! Meet Boom.
You’ll never see happy-go-lucky Boom without a smile on his face! This handsome pit bull mix is two years young and has a puppy-like attitude about life! His outgoing personality really shines when given plenty of playtime with fun-loving people and he’s also enjoyed playtime with a few other large dogs during his stay at the shelter. Boom’s dynamic personality will make him a great companion for an active family with older children who will take him on daily walks and lots of fun adventures. When the day’s activities are over, you’re sure to find this lovable boy at your side for a little snuggle time.
