10 Best Places to Eat In Hershey- Harrisburg

This post may contain affiliate links. View my disclosure policy for details.

We have lived near Hershey and Harrisburg (my husband actually works in Harrisburg) for years, and we’re just now discovering the amazing foodie scene in the area! I’m sharing my top 10 can’t-miss places to dine here, whether you’re traveling through or a local like me.

This post is in partnership with Visit Hershey & Harrisburg who hosted our visit. All opinions are my own. You can read my full Disclosure Policy here.

10 Best Places to Eat In Hershey- Harrisburg

Who knew there were so many amazing places to eat in the Hershey-Harrisburg area? I’ve been to Hershey many times, and the restaurants at the Hershey Resorts are fantastic (a few are included on my list below!). I wasn’t aware, however, that there are SO many other tasty options in the area.

If you’re pretty local like I am, or if you are traveling through Central Pennsylvania, add a few of these delicious eateries to your dining plan.

The Circular

The Circular is inside of The Hotel Hershey, and this is my favorite spot for breakfast. They have the most delicious buffet with an amazing selection. Don’t miss the chocolate bread pudding!

Harvest

Harvest is also located at The Hotel Hershey, and this is more of a farm-to-table restaurant with lots of seasonal features on the menu, so there’s something new every time I visit. Harvest isn’t actually inside of The Hotel, but just across the parking lot. So this is a nice option for dining if you’re not a Hotel guest.

Fire and Grain

blank

Fire and Grain is a pretty new restaurant, just a couple of years old, located inside of The Hershey Lodge. It has a really cozy atmosphere, and it’s family-friendly. The food is amazing. Baked Seafood Mac N Cheese, anyone? And this little gem above is the S’mores Jar. To-die-for! Lots more photos of the food and a video tour here.

Char’s at Tracy Mansion

blank

Located on Front Street along the Susquehanna River in Harrisburg, Char’s at Tracy Mansion is a great spot for a fancy night on the town. Leave your jeans at home for this one and go ahead and get decked out.

With an incredible cocktail selection, gorgeous dining rooms, and a mouthwatering menu, Char’s is the perfect place for a special night out. These are Pomme Frites with truffle oil and fresh rosemary, served with garlic aioli. They were incredible, as was every single bite of my meal here.

Cafe 1500

blank

When people say that brunch is their favorite meal, a place like Cafe 1500 is the reason why. Located in Harrisburg, Cafe 1500 has this hip, modern vibe that makes it the perfect place to meet your friends.

They have a huge menu with lots of sweet and savory options, but the real icing on the cake are their mimosas and Bloody Marys. Good LAWD. They’re amazing!

Trevi 5

blank

Trevi 5 is an Italian restaurant located inside The Hotel Hershey. I’ve taken the kids here a few times and it’s nice for families because they have pizza, which everyone loves, but they also have some more upscale dishes for mom and dad. Don’t forget to try their Italian sodas!

Bricco

blank

I think this is where I had the best meal I’ve ever had in my life, and I mean that. Located on 3rd Street in Harrisburg, Bricco features Mediterranean and Italian cuisine, but a lot of local flavors, too. My fellow travel writers and I enjoyed a several-course meal called The Chef’s Table, each course served with a perfectly paired glass of wine. Every bite was insanely good. I cannot wait to take my husband back! Bricco would be a perfect place for a night out with your friends or a date night.

Graystone Public House

blankThe Greystone Public House is a really cool, 18th century tavern. They do have a kids’ menu so you’d be welcome to bring the entire family. Located in Harrisburg, Greystone Public House features a lot of rustic American dishes. If you love seafood like I do, they’ve got a great selection for each course. Their oysters were amazing, and I had crab cakes for my entree. Fantastic!

Troegs Independent Brewing

blank

Located in Hershey (but not at a Hershey Resort!), Troegs is so good that I dedicated an entire post to it. With a casual atmosphere, unique and delicious menu, and tons of their own craft beers, this is the spot for get togethers with friends, date-night, or a family dinner out. Check out my post for more photos and info. They even have an art show upstairs!

Hershey Grille

blank

Hello, S’mores French Toast. If this isn’t the way to start the day, then just leave me in bed. Hershey Grille is located at The Hershey Lodge, but it has a separate entrance and parking lot so it’s a great stop even if you are not a Lodge guest. The first couple of times I ate here was for breakfast (and yes, I ordered this every time). More recently we went for dinner and it was fantastic. They have a great menu. I highly recommend the Grille!
