Project Envolve™ is a program sponsored by PPL Electric Utilities with the mission of helping us all save more and use less electricity. I am a Project Envolve Ambassador and have been provided with complimentary products and/or payment in exchange for sharing these ideas and my own use of them with you. The opinions in this post are 100% mine. You can read my full disclosure policy here.
Being a Project Envolve Ambassador has allowed me to learn (and share!) so many awesome ways to save money on your utility bills that I might not have thought of before. One of my favorite money-saving tips, especially in the summertime when it’s HOT, is to keep your oven off and grill, baby, grill.
Grilling is energy efficient.
- You’ll save energy by not turning on the stove or oven.
- You won’t have to run the dishwasher or use more hot water to wash pots and pans.
- You’re not adding the extra heat from the stove and oven to your house so it stays cool!
We grill all the time in the summer, and really all year round. It’s our favorite way to cook the most flavorful food but I’ll be honest, I also love it because of the easy clean up! The best is when you can get the entire meal on the grill, so I’ve gathered up 17 of the most unique grilling recipes, some things you might not have known you can cook on the grill!
