I have fallen in love with a kitchen appliance.  Seriously, I love this Nesco Gardenmaster Dehydrator and have been using it to make the best snacks. Healthy and so inexpensive, too!  Check out my review for some great pictures of the dried fruit, fruit roll ups, and beef jerky I made.  Be sure to follow Nesco on Facebook to be the first to hear about their latest products and promotions!

Nesco 1018

The model that I am using is the Nesco American Harvest FD-1018P 1000 Watt Food Dehydrator Kit and Nesco generously wants to offer one of you the same model!  This giveaway is open to U.S. residents ages 18+ and will end at 11:59pm ET on June 3, 2013.

Good luck!

I might also make fruit leathers. I think I’d dehydrate a combination of garlic, onion, bell peppers–maybe some spicier peppers–to use for an all purpose seasoning mix.

The first thing I would make is dried apples and apricots – love them so much but often in the store they have sulfates and other nasty things added. 🙂
