I love this movie so much. Disney’s ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY is out on Blu-Ray and DVD now! We just added it to our home collection and have watched it a couple of times already. I love it more every time I watch it. So hilarious (I mean, Steve Carell is just a riot!) and such a great, feel good family film.
Disney’s heartwarming comedy will have your entire family laughing out loud. Based on the best-selling book, it follows the exploits of Alexander as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life and wonders if bad things only happen to him. But he discovers he’s not alone when his dad (Steve Carell), mom (Jennifer Garner) and family live through their own terrible – and hilarious – day. It will tickle everyone’s funny bone, and warm their hearts as they discover how even on rotten days, families can grow closer.
We have been having lots of family movie nights around here because it’s so, SO cold we can’t get outside. Our favorites are those the entire family can enjoy and ALEXANDER definitely is near the top of our collective lists.
Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day Trailer
I was fortunate to be in LA for the ALEXANDER press junket and got to meet the cast of this great movie. The thing that makes it even better is that the closeness you see on the screen is real. This ‘family’ got along so well and really loved working together. Their friendships were so apparent when I talked to them. You can read more behind-the-scenes scoop in some of these posts:
- My ALEXANDER review
- Interview with Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner
- Interview with Ed Oxenbould, Dylan Minnette, and Kerris Dorsey (the kids!)
- Interview with Bella Thorne (Celia the not-so-sweet girlfriend)
You can order your copy on Amazon now! Follow ALEXANDER on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to speed with the latest news. You can also check out the website for more info. I have free printables for you, too. This movie is so, so good!
