15 Natural Flavored Water Combinations

June 16, 2014

If you're like me and trying hard to increase your water intake try some of these natural flavored water combinations. It's really helping me to drink more. #10 is my favorite!

I am admittedly terrible at getting enough water.  In general I think you’re supposed to aim for 8 glasses a day and I’m lucky if I get in half of that.  Well, now that summer is here and we’ve got our herb and veggie garden planted, and I’ve been going to the farmer’s market where I can get cheap fruits and veggies, it’s really easy for me to jazz up my water. I’ve been doing it for a couple of weeks now and something as simple as a squeeze of lemon with a pretty sprig of rosemary in my glass honestly makes me drink more water throughout the day.  I’m pretty sure it’s a mind game I play with myself, but hey, whatever works, right?     😉        I also love to use these cool Ball pint jars that are blue. So cool! And a fancy straw seals the deal.  Here are some of the combinations I love and more that are on my list to try.

15 Natural Flavored Water Combinations

1. Lemon and Lime

2. Orange and vanilla

3. Cucumber and basil

4. Mint and cucumber

5. Jalapeno Pepper and watermelon

6.  Fresh ginger and mango

7. Basil and strawberries

8. Cherry and lime

9. Cantaloupe and rosemary

10. Raspberry and lemon

11. Apples and cinnamon

12. Strawberry and cilantro

13. Peach and mint

14.  Lime and rosemary

15.   Lemon and mint

What other combinations can you come up with to try this summer?

BONUS TIP: If you’re short on time or just don’t have the produce on hand to jazz up your water like this, try H2WoW. I use this all the time. It’s an all-natural water enhancer that’s delicious and subtle, perfect for a fast picker-upper or to take on the go. You can read my review here!

All of these combinations sound so good. I think strawberry and mint would be a good one too.

Yes! I think so too. In that picture I actually did lemon, cucumber, and basil and that was a good combo. It’s so fun to get creative and if it helps me drink more that’s the whole point. Thanks Shelly!

In the summer I infuse my water with these combinations: Strawberry/Watermelon, Strawberry/Kiwi, Strawberry/Lemon, Watermelon/Kiwi, Peach/Mango, Pineapple/Mango, Green Apples, Oranges. I put mint in all of the combinations and if I use the fruits alone. I think mint makes it refreshing in the summer and reminds me of summer when I do it in the winter.

Those sound great! I love the idea of mint in everything. I need to plant some in a container this summer. One year I did it in the garden and it took over!

This looks all delicious. Thank you for sharing these natural flavored water combinations. I’ll try them all but will go first with fresh ginger and mango because it has my favorite fruit.
