Zipz Shoes: An Endless Supply of Funky Interchangeable Styles

You know by now that I have a shoe addiction.  I’m always on the prowl for my next cool pair of shoes and boy did I find some funky styles when I discovered Zipz Shoes.  I’ve never seen shoes like these before and the concept is brilliant!

Zipz Shoes come with interchangeable covers that unzip off of the sole of the shoes so you can mix and match your shoe styles!  What a great idea! Start with one pair of Zipz Souls and with every pair of covers that you have you’ll have a new pair of shoes!  Zipz let me pick a pair to review and I chose these Bandanaz Adult Zip-Ons.  I decided this was going to be the year of me embracing the wild child within.  I love the skulls, don’t you?  Life is too short for boring shoes.     🙂      With all the cool styles Zipz has you can have an endless supply of shoes.  Wow.  Endless supply of shoes.  Heaven.

And you won’t find a boring pair in the mix from Zipz.  Their patterns are totally funky and stylin’.  They make shoes for men, women, and even kids. For adults they have Zip-Ons (this is what I got), Low-Tops, and Hi-Tops.  They’ve got youth sizes in those three styles, too.  And if you have a little guy or gal in your house, check out their toddler styles: T-Strap and 2-Strap.

When I first got my new Zipz I thought they were a bit stiff and was worried they wouldn’t be comfortable.  I’m all about comfy, supportive shoes.  But, after I wore them for a couple of hours they were perfect.  They broke right in and fit great. The zipper is actually a perfect way to let a little air circulate in there.  I wore them mostly without socks and didn’t have sweaty feet at all.  I’d say they’re true to size.  I’m typically a 7 and that size fits me great.  The zipper was a little tough to move at first but that loosen up a bit after I zipped and unzipped them a few times.  I wouldn’t want it to be too lose anyway so that wasn’t a  big deal to me. It actually keeps my kids from taking my shoes apart and losing the covers throughout the house!

Zipz uses really high quality materials to make their shoes.  Their Cali Classic line uses an 8oz. canvas, which is twice the weight of their competitors.  I love that the covers are prewashed and preshrunk.  So if you get them dirty, just wash them and swap out another cover while they’re drying.  They won’t shrink up on you and ruin your shoes! Zipz offers a lifetime warranty against defects so they really stand behind their shoes.  After wearing them several times I can see why.  They’re durable, comfortable, supportive and just plain cool.
