I received a Wubble Ball to facilitate this post. The opinions in this post are 100% mine. You can read my full disclosure policy here.
Have you seen the Wubble Ball yet? If you’re like me and my friends, your kids have been begging for one. We were sent one to check out and had SO much fun playing with it! Yes, we. This is a great time (and workout, thankyouverymuch) for the entire family.
The Wubble Ball inflates up to 3 feet in diameter and the only thing not included in the box that you need to get started are 4 D batteries. So grab those and you’re all set. Included in the box is the deflated Wubble Ball, a pump, an inflation guide so you know when to stop the air flow, and 2 little nozzles to help you get the ball blown up. The instructions are very easy to follow and understand. Execute? Well it took me a few tries to get the ball blown up. You have to really jam that nozzle in the whole to get the air to flow through the valve. That took me a few tries. If you add a little oil to it (via a Q-tip is a good idea) it will slip inside the ball more easily. Here’s a great tutorial to help you see how this all works. Once I had it blown up we took it outside. This is where the fun began!
The Wubble Ball is almost as big as Leo! We threw it back and forth, chased it all over the yard, kicked it, and tried our best to keep it in the air. So much fun and I was panting just a bit when we got done. Who needs the gym when you’ve got a Wubble Ball?
I think Lily’s favorite thing to do was kick the ball…at her brother. Of course it was. 😉 Here’s a better look at how the ball actually feels and works.
Wubble Ball Review
Poor Leo! He took one in the face and had a sneeze attack there. Man, I love that kid. You can see the kids had a blast with this. Ours has not popped either. They are pretty durable but they are not indestructible. I had a friend tell me hers popped after it hit a pointed pumpkin stem. This is when the Wubble Ball replacement policy is AWESOME. They will replace it for only $6.99 any time it breaks. So you pay $19.99 for the ball and pump, and then $6.99 for any replacements you might need. It’s an inexpensive, ACTIVE toy (love that) with a great replacement offer.
The Wubble Ball is on Target’s list of 2014 Top Toys for the Holiday Season and has received multiple toy awards including being named as a Family Fun Toy Of The Year, an Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Best Toy Award, a National Parenting Center Seal of Approval, a Mr. Dad Approved Award, a Parent’s Choice Award and the Dr. Toy Best 100 Picks Award and more! We concur. This one is a LOT of fun!
You can grab a Wubble Ball for your kids at Target, Toys R Us, and online on the Wubble Ball website. Check out their Twitter and Facebook pages to get the latest updates on this FUN toy! It would make a great gift for the holidays!
