Wildwood Soapworks Giveaway: Baby Kjell's Organic Baby Powder & Organic Calendula Baby Bar – 4 Winners! (ends 4/1/12)

This post may contain affiliate links. View my disclosure policy for details.

It’s a brand new week and time for another Wildwood Soapworks giveaway!  I hope you’re enjoying the reviews and giveaways.  I’ve gotten emails from a couple of you that won who are already in love with your new organic soaps.  Stick around- we’ve got lots more to show you from this amazing company.  If you’d like to do some shopping yourself check out their online catalog.  Just today my Mom gave me a not-so-subtle hint that I should be shopping from it for Mother’s Day!  Their website is set to go live in a week or two and I can hardly wait!

baby kjell's baby powder

I’ve got two products to tell you about this week.  I’ll start with the Baby Kjell’s Baby Powder since my kids are most in love with this product.  Honestly, I haven’t had much use for baby powder since (thank goodness!) my kids are both potty trained and I’m all done changing diapers.  Oh yes.  The light at the end of the tunnel really does exist.  😉  But I’ve been so impressed with all of the Wildwood Soapworks products that I had to try this one, too.  So after their baths one night we cracked open the Baby Kjell’s Baby Powder and put some on the kids.  The first thing I noticed is that it doesn’t fly everywhere like you might expect.  This powder has some weight to it so it comes out perfectly, just a small amount at a time an no big dust cloud. The kids had fun rubbing powder on their arms and legs and I made sure to put some on the bottoms of their feet.  We’re almost into sweaty-foot season around here so I figure it can’t hurt to get a jump on it, right?  The powder went on smoothly, again no dust and it rubbed right into the kids’ skin. We didn’t have any little ghost children running around here! Only little softies with sweet smelling, smooth skin.

Actually, that’s the other thing that’s really different about this baby powder: it’s not white.  I took this picture to try to show you and the best comparison I can make is to think about the difference between cooking with white, all-purpose flour versus whole wheat flour.  This is my ‘whole wheat’ baby powder.  It’s made from food grade bentonite clay and organic herbs and essential oils.  There’s no talc or cornstarch in it. So if your baby gets some in their mouth, you can skip calling poison control.  How awesome is that since we all know what babies do with anything they can get their hands on: directly in the mouth.  I’m most looking forward to using this product this summer when we’re prone to heat rashes and sweaty kids.  The Baby Kjell’s Baby Powder soothes skin and absorbs odor, which sounds perfect to put on after your shower in the summer.

baby kjell's baby bar

The second product I want to introduce you to is the Baby Kjell’s Calendula Baby Bar.  I’ve tried a few of the Wildwood Soapworks soaps and just love them.  But this product is really something special.  When I first got it I think my mouth dropped a little bit.  It really is just as beautiful as it appears in the picture above.  It looks like something straight from Heaven.   It’s white and creamy and smooth.  Just delicious looking and ideal for the tender skin of a little baby. Or anyone, really!  I think this would be the best product if you’ve got sensitive skin.  This Baby Bar is made with 96% certified organic extra virgin olive oil and infused with calendula.  Once again, if your little guy or gal does the directly-into-the-mouth thing, no biggie.  This product is totally safe for kids.  Personally, I think it’s the most pure, gentle baby product I’ve ever come across.  I love using it on my kids and it really lathers up great.  As with all of these Wildwood Soapworks baby products, no baby is necessary to appreciate and enjoy using them!

I’m so excited that this week four lucky winners will get both of these awesome products, the Baby Kjell’s Baby Powder AND the Baby Kjell’s Calendula Baby Bar.  Wow!  This giveaway starts on Monday March 26 and runs through midnight EST on Sunday April 1.  There’s just one mandatory entry: Tell me which product you can’t wait to try, the Baby Powder or the Baby Bar, and how you’d use it. There are a bunch of ways to earn additional optional entries, too. Use the Rafflecopter widget below to enter.  Then be sure to come back next week where you’ll find another great Wildwood Soapworks giveaway.  It happens to be the one-year anniversary of Pandora’s Deals so you just might find a particularly awesome giveaway!

I was provided with samples of Wildwood Soapworks’ products to facilitate this review.  The opinions in this post are 100% mine.  You can read my full disclosure policy here.
