Wildwood Soapworks Giveaway: Baby Kjell’s Organic Baby Oil- 4 Winners! (3/18/12)

This post may contain affiliate links. View my disclosure policy for details.

baby kjell's baby oil

It’s a new week and time for another awesome giveaway from Wildwood Soapworks.  I’m so excited to be able to introduce you to these best-of-the-best organic skin care products.

This week I want to tell you about their Baby Kjell’s Organic Baby Oil.  Wildwood Soapworks sent me this baby oil to review and I wasn’t really sure what to do with it.  Honestly, I’ve never used baby oil. I never used it on my kids when they were babies, never used it on myself.  But I figured I’d better try it if I’m supposed to review it!  And I have to tell you, I am now IN LOVE with this product.

The first thing I fell in love with is the smell.  Baby Kjell’s Baby Oil is made from chamomile-infused extra virgin olive oil and high altitude Bulgarian lavender essential oil.  And that’s it!  No other weird, difficult-to-pronounce stuff thrown in.  So I get a squeeze of this oil on my hands and just light up.  WHAT is that smell?  Can I eat this stuff?  I won’t lie.  I really wanted to eat it.  At the very least I need a candle that smells like this (hint, hint, Wildwood Soapworks). The scent is floral but it’s not a fake, overpowering smell.  It’s just such a natural scent, a combination of the lavender and chamomile.  It’s just amazing.  Ah-mazing.

Once I fell in love with the smell I easily found a few ways to use the Baby Kjell’s Baby Oil.  After my daughter’s shower and my son’s bath I put some of this baby oil on their damp skin.  They both looooved the smell.  “Mommy, can I have some more oils?”  No buddy.  These are Mommy’s oils.  😉  My little guy has some patchy dry skin on the backs of his arms and this oil took care of them after about two uses.  For myself, I’ve stopped using my regular body lotion after a shower and now use this oil.  And since it’s next to my bathroom sink, after I wash my hands with my Wildwood Soapworks soap, I give myself a little squirt of the Baby Kjell’s and my hands are soft and moisturized.  I find myself washing my hands 100 times a day: after helping my son go potty, before making meals, after cleaning up after my pets, and on and on.  I used to dread it since my hands were getting so dry that they actually started to crack and bleed.  Now I actually look forward to washing my hands just so I can use this baby oil afterward!

I have to address the greasy factor.  It’s the main reason I never used baby oil in the past.  It’s just too greasy.  I do not have that issue with the Baby Kjell’s.  It is oil, so when I first put it on it’s, well, oily.  Then it soaks right in leaving your skin soft and smooth.  It’s not greasy at all.  Where other baby oils might sit on top of your skin, this stuff goes into your skin.  It’s an awesome product and I am totally hooked. It makes me feel like I’ve got a little spa treatment to enjoy right in my own bathroom each day!

This week I’m giving away a bottle of Baby Kjell’s Baby Oil to FOUR lucky winners!  I’m so excited for you to be able to try this stuff.  You’re going to fall in love with Wildwood Soapworks the same way I have and I really think you’ll especially love this product.  It’s my favorite so far and I’ve tried a bunch! Use the Rafflecopter form below to complete the one mandatory entry: Leave a comment on this blog post and tell me how you would use Baby Kjell’s Baby Oil.  There are a bunch of ways to earn additional optional entries, too.  This giveaway starts on March 12 and runs through midnight EST on March 18.  Then be sure to come back next week and look for yet another awesome giveaway from Wildwood Soapworks.  You’re going to love that one, too!

Good luck!

I was provided with samples of Wildwood Soapworks’ products to facilitate this review.  The opinions in this post are 100% mine.  You can read my full disclosure policy here.

My oldest has weird dry skin. Red bumps, and all. The doctors keep brushing it off as nothing. “Just use lotion.” Um… sure. lol Definitely will try this on her. We don’t like baby oil either for exactly the same reason you mentioned!

I have very dry skin and always use baby oil of some kind ( or cocoa butter oil) on my skin right after a shower when it is wet. Then, I take a dry towel and towel it off so I am not left greasy but I reap all the benefits of the oil. My skin looks amazing…I would love to try this baby oil…you make it sound amazing! It doesn’t have that weird smell some of the organic baby oils do and I really want to try this! Thanks for the giveaway!

As I have grown older my skin has gotten thinner and dryer so moisturizing is a must. I use a baby oil gel that helps a lot, but I would prefer a baby oil that is all natural and organic with no chemicals to seep into my skin. The fact that it has a delicious smell is an added bonus and I would use it to soften and smooth all over!
