Disney is providing me with an expense paid trip to Los Angeles for the #VeryBadDayEvent and #DisneyInHomeEvent in exchange for my review of the events of the trip. No other compensation is given. The opinions and experiences in my posts are 100% mine. You can read my full disclosure policy here.
Who else is so excited for Disney’s ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY? I cannot wait! We saw the trailer for the first time as a preview in the theater when we went to see PLANES: FIRE AND RESCUE and my entire family cracked up. It looks hilarious! Mark your calendars for October 10 when it hits theaters, and get ready because I’m going to have TONS of insider scoop to share with you! I’ve been invited to attend the #VeryBadDayEvent in Los Angeles, hosted by Disney Studios from September 24-28! I’m SO excited!
#VeryBadDayEvent
I’m going to get to screen ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY and can’t wait to tell you what I think! I just know it’s going to rock. Then I’ll have the chance to interview the cast, including Steve Carell (OMGGGGG!!!), Jennifer Garner, Ed Oxenbould, Dylan Minnette, Kerris Dorsey and Bella Thorne. They all look so perfect for their roles in the film.
Disney’s “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day”follows the exploits of 11-year-old Alexander (Ed Oxenbould) as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life—a day that begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by one calamity after another. But when Alexander tells his upbeat family about the misadventures of his disastrous day, he finds little sympathy and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him. He soon learns that he’s not alone when his mom (Jennifer Garner), dad (Steve Carell), brother (Dylan Minnette) and sister (Kerris Dorsey) all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Anyone who says there is no such thing as a bad day just hasn’t had one.

If you have any questions for the cast be sure to let me know. I’d love ask them for you!
#DisneyInHomeEvent
The next part of my trip to LA is going to include a behind-the-scenes look at four awesome upcoming in-home releases: MALEFICENT, SLEEPING BEAUTY, PLANES: FIRE AND RESCUE, and STAR WARS REBELS: SPARK OF REBELLION. I’ll be learning all about the bonus features we’ll see on the DVDs, meeting the filmmakers, even touring Walt Disney’s Los Feliz residence. AND…I’ll get to meet the cast of STAR WARS REBELS: SPARK OF REBELLION which includes Freddie Prinze Jr., Taylor Gray, Vanessa Marshall,Tiya Sircar plus Executive Producer Dave Filoni. WOW! My kids have our whole family emerged (submerged?) in Star Wars right now so this is super awesome for me.
#HalloweenTime
Finally, and this has me bursting with excitement, we’ll be visiting Disneyland! The park is all decked out for Halloween and I can’t wait to see it! I’ll take lots of pics to share with you. And if you’ve ever been I’d love to hear about your favorites, tips, etc. Our family did Disney World in April and had the time of our lives. I’ve never been to Disneyland so I can’t wait to see how it compares, especially with the Halloween decor which I’m sure is going to blow me away with awesomeness!
I’m really looking forward to sharing this adventure with you and hope you’ll follow along. It’s going to be so much fun!
