VTech Kidizoom Smartwatch

My kids are always taking my phone to take pictures and make silly videos of each other.  I do get a kick out of playing them back, but what’s even more awesome is them having their own device to record on.  Enter the VTech Kidizoom Smartwatch. I’ve always loved for my kids but this one really hits it out of the park.  There are so many features that my kids LOVE!

Pink Smartwatch

Not only is the Kidizoom Smartwatch a watch that actually does tell time (in both digital and analog!), but it’s almost like a mini tablet on your child’s wrist. It comes in a handful of colors: pink, white, green and blue.  I love that the flexible wristband makes it comfortable for little kids to wear yet it’s durable too.  But the really fun part is all the ‘apps’ as my kids call them.

With the exciting interactive Kidizoom Smartwatch, kids can capture photos, add photo effects, record videos and play built-in games for learning fun on the go. Complete with an easy-to-use 1.4’’ color touch screen, as well as more than 50 digital and analog clock displays, the multi-functional Kidizoom Smartwatch is perfect for kids learning to tell time. The Kidizoom Smartwatch also boasts a rechargeable battery, alarm clock, timer, stopwatch, voice recorder with funny voice changing effects and parental game controls.

Green Smart Watch

All of the features are listed below, but I need to say, my FAVORITE feature is that there are no batteries! The Kidizoom Smartwatch comes with a USB cable that plugs right into your computer and you recharge it just as you would your own cell phone.

Kidizoom® Smartwatch (Ages 4 years and up; MSRP: $59.99) features include:

  • 1.4 inch color touch screen
  • Camera for taking photos and recording videos
  • Voice recorder with 5 voice changing effects
  • Special effects including customized photo frames, color filters and distortion effects; fun video frames
  • 4 fun games, included
  • Kid-durable design to withstand drops and bumps
  • Splash proof and sweat proof
  • Alarm clock with fun tones and animation
  • Timer and stopwatch in kid-friendly themes
  • 50+ digital and traditional analog displays
  • Rechargeable battery
  • 4 vibrant colors: blue, pink, white and green
  • Micro USB cable for data transfer and battery recharging
  • Access to Learning Lodge app store to download more games and watch displays

Smartwatch for Kids

My kids’ favorite thing to do is take pictures of each other. Here’s my daughter Lily telling my son Leo to strike a pose. What’s he doing with his hands there?! I don’t know but it’s captured on film!

Kidizoom Smartwatch

Here are a few still shots of (from L to R) the clock, alarm, timer, and puzzle game.  Again, the entire thing is touchscreen so there are no buttons needed to scroll through and find what you’re looking for. It’s very easy to use. Let me show you!

VTech Kidizoom Smartwatch Review

It’s great isn’t it? Really easy to use and I love that the resolution on the pics is so good.  If your kids are into the gaming feature you can log on and download new games to your device too.  So many fun ways to use this toy!  It would make a perfect holiday gift for the kids this year.  You can grab on on the or on Amazon. They retail for $59.99 which is a great price for a touchscreen electronic with so many features!

VTech is generously offering one of my readers their own VTech Kidizoom Smartwatch! This giveaway is open to US residents ages 18+ and will end at 11:59pm ET on September 8, 2014.

Good luck!

My son loves telling stories using different/funny voices, so I think that his favorite part of the new VTech Kidizoom® Smartwatch watch (besides the photo part) would be the voice recorder. I can just see him now using the five different voice changing effects to tell his stories! I think that my favorite part is the NO batteries part! I can never find enough of the size that I need when his toys run out of battery life.
