I was provided with a complimentary SelfieGeeks.com product to facilitate this conversation.   The opinions in this post are 100% mine.  You can read my full disclosure policy here.

My selfie game is truly lacking. I’m not big on posting pictures of my face all over the place and quite frankly I’m not that good at it. I blame my short arms! But I will say, I’m usually the one behind the camera which means I’m NOT usually the one in the photo and there are times when it’s really nice to capture yourself in the moment, too.  So when SelfieGeeks.com reached out to me to introduce me to their selfie stick I was really excited to give it a try.

Selfie Stick

The thing I really like about their selfie stick is how easy it is to use, and my short arms are no longer an issue.  Three cheers for that!

Selfie Stick Benefits

Just clamp your phone in one end of the selfie stick and then plug it in. There’s a button on the handle that will take the picture for you almost like a remote so no more reaching out to try to tap that camera button on your phone while you try to hold your pose. Not only does this allow you to get a more flattering angle easily, but it’s also perfect for getting a wider angle and including more people in the photo instead of just a close up of your face.

I practiced with my kids and love being able to get these pics of me with them, instead of me taking the pics OF them without me in the shots.

SelfieGeeks.com carries a bunch of colors of selfie sticks. And they are compact enough to throw in your purse to take with you wherever you go. But telescope that arm out and you have a looooonng reach!  If you’re like me and need a little help in the selfie department, or even if you think you’ve mastered your selfie technique, you really can easily get better pictures with the use of this handy little device.  Head over to SelfieGeeks.com and check out their selection of selfie sticks and other products to help you take better pictures with your phone.

Unfortunately http://www.selfiegeeks.com no longer sell selfiesticks but is now a cool website where people can join and share their funny selfies. You must become a member (which is free) and then upload your own profile. join groups; create groups; make friends and more
