Tree Hut Bath & Body Products: Soft, Smooth Skin, Amazing Scents, Perfect Stocking Stuffers!

Ladies, don’t you just love your favorite bath and body products?  I mean, when you have something you REALLY love it’s such a treat to get a shower each day.  I can’t even believe I’d say that since I have to get in the shower around 6am to get my kids to school.  But, when there’s something amazing waiting for you behind that shower curtain the alarm is not quite as annoying.  I have found a new favorite line of bath and body products and am totally in love with Tree Hutand believe it or not, it makes it worth getting my  butt out of bed before dawn.

Tree Hut has a great variety of bath and body products.  Before I tell you why they’re so awesome, let me tell you what they make.  Based in Texas, Tree Hut starts with all natural ingredients like organic shea butter and a variety of natural oils and extracts to create some truly fantastic products.  They sell body butters, lotions, shower wash and shea body scrubs. These products smell amazing. Seriously, the scents they offer are the best. Lavender & Chamomile, Almond & Honey, Coconut Lime, Vanilla Spice, and Tropical Mango are just a handful.  I love the combinations they offer.

I tried the Lavender & Chamomile Sugar Body Scrub.  One word: addicted.  Love this stuff.  Okay, the first thing that hits you is the smell.  It’s just a perfect combination of the lavender and chamomile scents without being overpowering.  Some products can smell so…well, fake.  This smells natural, floral and sweet without being perfumey.  And the smell lasts on your skin long after your shower.  Just a subtle scent that I love.

Maybe more important that the smell is the fact that it works great!  Tree Hut uses real sugar in their scrubs and it is definitely the most effective exfoliant I’ve ever tried.  The scrub is really gritty with all the sugar it in, but that doesn’t mean it’s harsh on your skin.  Use as much or as little pressure as you want to for different parts of your body.  I use more pressure when scrubbing up my elbows than I do when scrubbing up my face.  Yes, you can use this on your face!  It’s perfect for getting rid of dead skin cells that cause your skin to look dull and can lead to breakouts.  The shea and other oils are so moisturizing that my skin is left feeling soft (VERY soft) and smooth, not dried out and tight like you might have experienced with other scrubs.

One of my best friends is a registered nurse and in her line of work she washes her hands a gazillion times a day.  Last time she visited I had her use the Tree Hut sugar scrub on her hands to see how smooth and soft it made them.  She was totally impressed and loved the results.  I even got a, “Feel my hands, Lindsay.”  I can’t say enough about how good your skin feels after using this scrub.  With colder weather here (boo!) my skin is just about ready to do the usual winter routine of drying up and getting tight and itchy.  I’m already combating that with this Tree Hut product and definitely think I can keep my skin feeling hydrated and smooth.  Take *that*, winter!

Tree Hut products are available to purchase on Amazon, which is a huge bonus if you ask me since I shop on Amazon all the time anyway, and it means that you can score free shipping with a Prime membership or on orders of $25 or more with Super Saver shipping.  What’s more, these products are totally affordable.  I’ve shopped around and see that prices vary based on the product, but here are a couple examples for you.  Keep in mind that Amazon can change their prices at any time so these prices may not always be accurate but you’ll at least get a ballpark idea:

  • The sugar scrubs are as low as $5.33 each (3-pack for $16.83)  and mine has lasted a few weeks already and is still very full.
  • The body butters are as low as $5 (I found a couple 3-packs for $15).
  • The body lotions are $4.99 (2-packs for $9.98).
  • The shower washes are as low as $5.79 each.

I honestly love these products and definitely plan to grab a few for Christmas gifts for my friends and family.  They’re a special yet totally affordable gift. Be sure to follow Tree Hut on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest to be the first to hear about their latest products and promotions.

Tree Hut is generously offering one of my readers their very own Lavender & Chamomile Sugar Body Scrub!  This giveaway is open to US residents only aged 18+.  It ends at 12 midnight ET on October 17, 2012. You can enter to win [HERE].  Good luck!
