What are you biggest skin issues? I think our family’s changes with the seasons but over the summer we fight with itchy bug bites and in the winter we fight with dry patchy skin. I’m a go-barefoot-as-much-as-possible person so the bottoms of my feet could use a little TLC. I was excited to have the opportunity to review Toe Juice since it can be used to treat just about every skin ailment under the sun.
Toe Juice was invented by Royce Garner, a high school science teacher. He didn’t have much luck treating dry, flaky skin on his baby son’s feet with creams and lotions so he came up with Toe Juice which was so successful for his son that a bunch of his friends and family starting using it too. And now, it’s available to all of us!
What’s Toe Juice made of? The primary ingredient is alcohol and you can smell it as soon as you open up the bottle. I was a bit reluctant at first to believe that this stuff was going to heal dry skin since alcohol itself is very drying. But, Toe Juice also contains DermaVine which is combination of plant-based extracts. Those natural ingredients help heal without drying out your skin. After a few uses I found that it really does work!
Toe Juice can be used to treat all kinds of skin conditions. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure what to do with this stuff at first. But, I read what other people use it for and thought the best place to start with a product called Toe Juice was probably my feet. Like I said, I have flip-flop feet and usually I’ll put some lotion on them right before bed. Can’t do it during the day or I’d slide all over the house! I started using the Toe Juice instead, applied with a cotton ball and it seems to work just as well if not better. It’s very cool and refreshing when you apply it and it dries quickly which means I can use it at any time of day without worrying about a mess or going flying on my kitchen floor. The skin on the bottoms of my feet is more hydrated and softer, too. I also think this would be great to use as a toner on your face to fight break outs. With the DermaVine in there it won’t make your skin dry and tight but it will help remove dead skin cell, dirt and oil to clean up your complexion.
What other uses have people found for Toe Juice? It’s used to treat athlete’s foot, warts, eczema, insect bites (definitely need to try that next summer!), ring worm, even diaper rash which I really like because it’s not messy to use. I remember I hated those messy tubes of diaper cream when my kids were little. Check out this video to see how other folks have applied and used Toe Juice:
