We've had a rough year so far and it's barely started! Want to know how I survived the second week in January. 2 things: DayQuil and Nyquil.

2015 didn’t get off to the start I was hoping for. As soon as the new year arrived my daughter got really sick for about a week and missed most of her first week back at school. As soon as she was finally better, guess who got sick? Me. I don’t get very sick very often, maybe a little sniffle here and there. But this was way more than a sniffle. I was SICK. Turns out I needed an antibiotic to fight whatever infection was brewing in my throat, but to treat my symptoms – sore throat, runny nose, sinus pressure, and headache – I reached for the same thing I always reach for when I’m down and out: Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil Severe. Yes, now they make Severe formula which works even better! This stuff is what allowed me to survive the second week in January.

DayQuil and NyQuil are my go-to meds of choice when I’m sick because they treat ALL my symptoms and really make me functional again. I’ve got 2 kids here and there’s no time for Mom to go lock herself in a bedroom and be sick for a week. The show must go on! DayQuil allows me to carry on with life without making me tired, and NyQuil lets me shut it down and get some real, deep sleep.  I like to grab my DayQuil and NyQuil Severe at Walmart because when you’re sick, you don’t want to be traipsing all over town. Grab your tissues, soup, cozy blanket, a new DVD to veg out with on the sofa, and your cold and flu meds all in one shot. And they have great prices, too so you can get better without breaking the bank.

Indications for Nyquil and DayQuil

I’ve used these products for years because they really work for me. And I don’t like to mess around when I’m sick. I have to get back to my regularly scheduled programming here: dinner, soccer practice, homework, you know the drill. It’s been a rough start to the year for a lot of people. So many of my friends and family have been sick. So be prepared and grab Vicks® DayQuil™ and NyQuil™ Severe at Walmart along with everything else you need to get better.

You can find the best deals on your cold and flu needs at Walmart by following on Twitter, and join Nyquil and Dayquil on Facebook for their latest news and tips of staying well, too.
