As a Jabra 2014 Ambassador I was provided with complimentary Jabra Rox to facilitate this review. The opinions in this post are 100% mine. You can read my full disclosure policy here.
Just today I was out with some friends telling them how much I love the Jabra brand. The Solemate and Tour are products I honestly use every single day. They just came out with another awesome new product that once again someone in my family has lifted from me. We share here so it’s okay. 🙂 The Jabra Rox wireless headset is perfect for my husband to take to work and listen at his desk without disturbing the rest of the office with loud music.
Like every other Jabra product I’ve used the Rox is extremely easy to use right out of the box. It comes with an instruction manual but honestly I don’t even look at them anymore. You turn it on, connect it to the Bluetooth on your phone and start using it. It’s just that easy.
This is what you’ll find in the box: The Jabra Rox headset, a charging cable, the get-started guide, a little carrying bag, and extra sets of ear gels and ear wings so you can find the right size for your ears. The wings kind of help them stay in place better if you’re doing something like housework and bouncing around a little bit. The Rox are actually not meant for working out. They don’t go over the ear to keep them in place but they are perfect for listening at your desk or when you’re out for a walk or folding laundry. Light work basically. And you can also use them to take a call! So if you want to chat with a friend while you’re shopping in the mall, these are perfect.
I love this feature that I found by accident. See, that’s me not reading the manual again and just diving in to use them! The backs of the earpieces are magnetic and will stick together. This really keeps them from getting tangled when you have them stored in the bag, and (this is so cool) they’ll go into power-saving mode when they’re magnetically attached! I love that battery-saving feature.
So here’s my handsome husband using the Jabra Rox at the desk. He has actually been asking for a set of headphones he can wear at work because in the IT department where he works they’re all in cubes and you can’t really just turn on music without disturbing everyone else. So these are perfect! He listens to the Pandora radio app on his phone. The cord goes around the back of his neck so it’s not in his way, and the sound quality is fantastic, just as you’d expect from Jabra. They’re a win for rocking your desk job!
The Jabra Rox is available at the Apple Store!
