It’s getting cooler out and fall is in the air. That means football, kids in school, and nights cozied up on the couch watching our favorite shows. All of that also means we need snacks. We like to munch while watching TV and the kids take snacks and lunch to school every day plus come home and need a snack right away, too. We all get sick of the same old, same old, so I am loving the versatility of Pretzel Crisps® and all the flavors they carry plus all the ways we’ve found to serve them!
The Pretzel Crisps® Deli Style line is DEE-licious! We got our box of them in the mail to review and I kid you not, my kids and husband had the Buffalo Wing bag completely gone before dinner. I barely got to taste them but I hear through the grapevine that they were amazing. Gee, thanks for sharing guys. My favorite was the Garlic Parmasean which I ate dipped in hummus. Sooo good. Other Deli Style flavors include Original, Sesame, Everything, Jalapeno Jack and Chipotle Cheddar.
Serve them salty, sweet, or out of the bag. We munched on the Pretzel Crisps® right out of the bag, especially the flavored ones like Jalapeno Jack and Chipotle Cheddar. But they were also delicious with a yummy dip. My husband made his world-famous (at least in our world!) homemade guacamole which was perfect for dipping. Pretzel Crisps® are just sturdy enough to hold up under a thick dip like guac without breaking, but they’re not so thick that they feel like a heavy snack. That’s what I loved about them most: they are the perfect ‘weight’ in a snack to feel like you’ve eaten without having overeaten.
I let my sweet tooth take the lead and dipped a few Original Pretzel Crisps® in some melted chocolate and decorated them up for Halloween. YUM! I love the combination of salt and sweet and these were such a snap to make: melt some chocolate or white chocolate chips in the microwave, dip the Pretzel Crisps® in it, set them on wax paper and sprinkle with your choice of decorations before allowing to harden. (Tip: white chocolate hardens much better than milk!) This is a fun little project for the kids, too!
Pretzel Crisps® are a healthy snack alternative to potato chips and other junk foods. Eat 10-11 pieces and set yourself back only 110 calories. They have no trans fats and no saturated fats either. And I love how easy they are to take on the go. I stick a few in a reusable snack bag for my kids to take to school or to munch on in the car. Or just take the whole bag with you. That’s one more thing I really love: the bag they come in is resealable so you can keep them fresh and keep them from spilling all over the place.
This is one versatile snack! Serve Pretzel Crisps® up with your favorite savory dips, eat them dipped in chocolate, eat them right out of the bag or while you’re on the go. They’re the perfect snack for almost any occasion and with all the flavors available there’s surely something for everyone. I can tell you right now I’m going to have my eyes peeled for their holiday flavors: Dark Chocolate & Peppermint and White Chocolate & Peppermint. Check out all the recipes they share and try not to drool on your keyboard. You can really get creative with Pretzel Crisps®!
