Fruit Cups in Orange Halves

Fruit Bowls in Orange Halves

My kids eat fruit like it’s going out of style.  I just went shopping and the fridge is packed with all kinds of produce. This idea came to me in the shower one morning.  Don’t ask me how since I’m only about 40% awake during that time.

Fruit Bowls in Oranges

I thought it would be cute to make fruit bowls out of oranges! The kids loved them. Aren’t they so pretty?

They are so easy to make. You probably don’t even need any instructions and can figure it out just by looking at the picture. I will tell you that having a grapefruit knife made it really easy to get the ‘meat’ out of the orange cleanly.  Well, as clean as a juicy orange can be!  But there were no strings of pulp hanging around.  These are perfect for breakfast, an after-school snack, or a brunch with friends.  Anytime, really!
