Let’s celebrate reaching 5,000 fans on Facebook and celebrate Earth Day together. This review and giveaway is part of Pandora’s Deals 5K Earth Day Giveaway!
I had so many giveaways to jam into my Earth Day giveaway bash that I had to carry it into a second week! So plan on some more great opportunities to win this week. I’m really excited about this week’s Wildwood Soapworks giveaway. So far we’ve taken a look at all the amazing baby products and a few soaps and one lotion twist up. You can check out all my previews reviews here. This week I’m reviewing a product a lot of you have requested I share with you, the Golden Slumbers Sleep Balm.
This is yet another product that I just love. It comes in this cute little tin that you can keep on your nightstand and use every night before you go to sleep. Inside the tin is a solid balm that you rub your fingers on and then apply to your forehead, temples, and just under your nose. Then nighty-night. Golden Slumbers Sleep Balm is made to send you off to dreamland.
I have this product totally figured out. Well, I have a guess or two. I felt like it really relaxed me before I drifted off and then it hit me: it smells so good that I’m taking these long, deep breaths to enjoy the smell, and that slow, deep breathing is relaxing it itself. The other reason it works? The smell. I wish I were better at describing the smell of all of the Wildwood Soapworks products. They’re so unique and just amazing, it’s hard to do them justice in words. This product has that high altitude Bulgarian lavender in it, the same stuff in the Baby Oil that I am totally obsessed with. It’s also made with certified organic extra virgin olive oil, ground lavender flowers, rose petals, lemon balm, and more all-natural plant-based products. Now how good does that sound? Ground rose petals? Sleeping Beauty isn’t just in fairy tales anymore.
You can use this balm on the kids. I don’t know about yours, but mine are like a couple of wild animals just before bedtime. 😯 I put the Sleep Balm on their little faces and send them off to La La Land. I think just the routine of it, the calming touch and relaxing smell helps them wind down and get ready to end their day. Help in this department is welcome, especially when it comes in the form of a totally natural, organic product made with food-grade ingredients that costs less than $7! How much would you pay to get your kids to go to bed calmly every night? Priceless.
Sleep Balm is made from organic olive oil so it is…oily, for lack of a better word. If you’re worried about rubbing that type of product on your face, if you have oily skin, try this: Just rub it on your lips like you would a lip balm. It’s still right under your nose so you can enjoy the smell, every time you rub your lips together you get a nice whiff of the scents that make this product so incredible, and your lips will be soft and moisturized in the morning, too. It works great!
