    Since my kids are older we would all use the regular plates……I think this is a good idea..I never heard of this before I will be trying this…..

    I never knew the following and I am glad I know this now…This article was very informative and i shared it with many of my friends..
    Melamine: This is combined with formaldahyde to create a resin that’s used to make dinnerware, among other things.  And it’s toxic in high doses.Bisphenol-A (BPA): This is an endocrine disruptor that can cause neurological and reproductive organ difficulties. Yikes.Phthalates: This stuff is really scary.  High doses in rats have been known to cause birth defects.  And phthalates are in almost everything!

    My daughter would use the Spoons and Forks set the most. She is learning to use utensils and loves flinging food everywhere with a spoon!

    OH MY GOSH! I didn’t realize there was so much toxic chemicals in dinenrware. That’s really scary so thank you for telling all of us that. That’s really great info. I’m always interested in trying anything green. I love this colorful dinnerware. I remember those days of my daughter throwing her plate across the room,not fun. LOL! Thanks again!

    Melamine is combined with formaldehyde is combined to make a resin for dinnerware. Why on earth do they put formaldehyde in everything these days?

    ugh….I’ve been buying melamine stuff without realizing the consequences! thank you thank you! I thought it was better than the regular plastic, now I REALLY need these lol!

    I had no idea that melamine has formaldehyde in it! With melamine plates becoming more popular I am very surprised that there is something toxic in them.

    OMG!! I had no clue about all the toxins in plastic plates: Melamine, Bisphenol-A, Phthalates. I will now discontinue using them!
