Moms Love Mombo: Two-Sided Pillow for Nursing & Tummy Time

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Comfort and Harmony. All opinions are 100% mine.

Mombo Nursing Pillow

When my kids were babies my nursing pillow was one of my must-haves. I even brought it to the hospital with me when they were born, and I used it long after I was done nursing.  I propped them up on it on my lap for story time and used it for tummy time, too.  I don’t remember the mombo nursing pillow being available in stores when I was a new mom (stop, I’m not *that* old!) but I wish it had been. This model from Comfort & Harmony looks like it’s got lots of great features for mom and baby!

The mombo nursing pillow has a unique shape.  It’s u-shaped like most nursing pillows so it fits around mom’s waist for easy nursing access. It has a bit of a wider area where the baby lays and it looks a little more level to me, which makes sense if you’re putting your baby on there to relax and eat.  You obviously don’t want them rolling anywhere!

Mombo Nursing Pillow

This baby nursing pillow also features two different sides. This is a really cool idea! The firmer side is perfect for resting your baby on while you’re nursing, and the softer side is better for tummy time and lounging. I used to prop my kids up inside of there to give them some extra support when they were trying to sit on their own.

Finally what sets the mombo apart from some of the other nursing pillows on the market is that this one has a vibration setting, which I think would have been awesome for helping my colicky daughter get some of those  burps up!  There are a bunch of great slipcovers styles and patterns to choose from.  I’d grab a spare so if you have a spit up incident (you know you will!) you can change it and move on with your day.

If you’re a mom with a new baby, or you need a shower gift, check out the mombo nursing pillow selection at Toys R Us.  Many new parents register at Babies R Us and they sell mombo there, too!

I wish I had known about this one when I was shopping. The one I had for Landon was really hard and stiff. Neither of us enjoyed it, so I used a regular pillow.

I wish this one had been around when my oldest (9) was born. Looks so much more functional than the one I had.
