I’m usually home alone for lunch. My husband is at work and both of my kids eat lunch at school so it’s just me, working from home. I don’t tend to make a big deal out of lunch because I’m not whipping anything up for anyone but myself. A plate of warmed-up leftovers, maybe some veggies and pretzels with hummus, whatever I can throw together quickly. The problem with that plan is realized around 2:30 in the afternoon when I’m starving and trying to remember what I ate for lunch. I should really make more of an effort to feed myself a *real* meal and take the time to enjoy it.
Michelina’s has a great selection of affordable frozen meals that they’ve jazzed up to make mouthwatering but still very simple meals. Sounds like a winner to me! Make It Your Michelina’s features 8 delicious recipes that start with Michelina’s meals and end with an entree you’d be proud to serve for dinner, let alone sit down and eat by yourself for lunch! These look like such a treat to me and they’re still so easy to whip up. I hardly have an excuse to not eat a decent lunch anymore!
I’ve got a list of four here that I really want to try. The Lettuce Wraps look delicious! All you need is Michelina’s Chicken Fried Rice and some Iceberg Lettuce. Yes, that’s it! And look how good they look. I’d love that for lunch!
Second on my list are the Stuffed Peppers. YUM! I love peppers To make this you’ll need Michelina’s Sweet & Sour Chicken and some bell peppers. Nothing else. See? Told ya this was too simple to believe.
Third I wantt to try the Seafood Alfredo. Now this looks more like a dinner dish to me and requires the addition of shrimp and asparagus to the Michelina’s Fettucini Alfredo. So slightly more work here but still much easier than making the whole thing from scratch. And doesn’t it look gooooood?
Last but not least I think my family would like the Taco Bowls. These are a perfect game day snack. All you need are the scoop shaped tortilla shells and you spoon in Michelina’s Lean Gourmet® Santa Fe Rice and Beans. Add toppings if you’d like: cheese, sour cream, and salsa. That’s it!
I never really thought of dressing up a frozen meal for lunch but it’s a brilliant idea especially when you start with yummy entrees like Michelina’s.
