KLAUS on Netflix + Giveaway

This post may contain affiliate links. View my disclosure policy for details.

The new Netflix original movie, Klaus, captures the spirit of the season in a unique way for the entire family to enjoy together.

This post is in partnership with Netflix. All opinions expressed are my own. You can read my full Disclosure Policy here.

One of my family’s favorite holiday traditions is to watch alllll the Christmas movies. One of our new favorites that just released this year is Klaus on Netflix.

Klaus on Netflix

While the traditional stories of Santa and Christmas never get old, Klaus has a very unique twist of an unlikely friendship that launched a legend. It that held our interest and was so refreshing.

Klaus Netflix Cast

When Jesper (Jason Schwartzman) distinguishes himself as the postal academy’s worst student, he is stationed on a frozen island above the Arctic Circle, where the feuding locals hardly exchange words let alone letters.

Jesper is about to give up when he finds an ally in local teacher Alva (Rashida Jones), and discovers Klaus (Oscar® winner J.K. Simmons), a mysterious carpenter who lives alone in a cabin full of handmade toys.

These unlikely friendships return laughter to Smeerensburg, forging a new legacy of generous neighbors, magical lore and stockings hung by the chimney with care.

Klaus Netflix Trailer

“We need to show people that a true selfless act always sparks another.” Yes! I love that, and am so glad to see a holiday movie like this remind us, and our kids, about the spirit of the season.

You can watch Klaus on Netflix now!  Cuddle up with the whole family and enjoy what is sure to be a new Christmas classic.

This year has been particularly rough financially for me. I received a very generous act of kindness from a co-worker. She paid my parking for a month. Doesn’t seem like much, but it is $80.00 per month and for me that is a lot right now. I WILL be paying that forward just as soon as I can. It is amazing the gratitude that I feel from this. We usually adopt a child from a giving tree but I am not able to do that this year. I hope to be able to do two next year.

My daughter and I (mainly her with my help) raised $75,000 in good for a military moms baby shower. It made so many moms very happy and they felt really appreciated for their service whether they were the service member or their spouse was. It made my daughter feel really good when she saw herself in the paper for it. She also was the top fund raiser for the American Cancer Society kids walk which helps a lot of people.

I won an Oriental Trading gift card earlier this year. I bought things to make goody bags for everyone at our local non-profit cat clinic and adoption center with cat emoji stress balls, paw print lanyards, cat pocket calendars, key chains, etc. They helped my cat with life changing mega colon surgery and helped find all my foster kitties homes this holiday season so we wanted to thank them for everything they have done.
