Use this free printable to have your kiddos record how they’re feeling each day, and some of the most memorable things they did each day.
There are two things keeping me sane during this strange time of no school, and staying home with the kids: getting outside every day, and some basic routine.
And when I say ‘basic’, I really do mean BASIC. I am not playing teacher and running school at home. There are days when we are in pajamas until much later than I care to admit.
We do have breakfast before we turn on the TV in the morning. And I’m currently requiring four simple things of the kids each day:
- Time spent reading
- Time spent on something (anything) educational
- Something to help around the house
- Some physical activity outside (inside is okay if it’s raining or too cold)
That’s about it for now, subject to change as time marches on and I have no idea what tomorrow will bring.
