Facebook has introduced its own version of Groupon, called Facebook Deals. Right now it’s available in Atlanta, Dallas, Austin, San Diego and San Francisco, but it will be moving to more cities soon, hopefully one close to you. Go to the this Facebook Blog post to read about how this works and how you can coordinate its use with Facebook Places to find Deals near you when you’re out and about. You can find a deal near you on your iphone, show it to the store employee, and claim your deal instantly. Amazing, really. Go to the Deals Facebook page to sign up to be notified when Deals come to a city near you. I am sure this is going to be, well, a big Deal.
