Inspired Shades: Hot Sunglasses With a Cool Price Tag

This post may contain affiliate links. View my disclosure policy for details.

I have a terrible track record with sunglasses.  As soon as I buy them, I lose them or break them.  It’s kind of ridiculous.  So early last summer I was pretty excited when I found a great deal on one of the daily deal sites for Inspired Shades.  I grabbed it and got myself two new pairs of sunglasses.  Amazingly, I haven’t lost or broken either pair…and it’s been over a year!

Now I’ve had the chance to work with Inspired Shades to review a third pair of their cool sunglasses and I’m still loving this company.  Given my history of buy and break, sunglasses were sort of a money pit for me every summer.  So I’d buy a junky pair at the drug store (or, yikes, the gas station) knowing I was going to be replacing them in a week or two.  In retrospect maybe this is why they broke so quickly.  I was buying junk.  Inspired Shades makes glasses that are durable enough to survive me and all the trips in and out of my everything’s-in-there-including-the-kitchen-sink purse.  I’d like to think I’ve made a better effort to take care of these sunglasses, but I think they’ve held up more because of their quality.  That’s a big bonus for me!

Inspired Shades has some seriously cool styles.  I love shopping on their site.  They’ve got designer-inspired styles for men and women and you can sort by price, shape, and color.  That makes it easy to narrow down choices that work for you.  I really like having a black pair and a brown pair on hand.  In the picture of me at the top of this post I’m wearing my Harpers.  Love these sunglasses!  In the picture directly above, I have the Evas on (left) and the Lindsays on (right), of course!  (I need to throw in a side note that I’m not really too comfortable with all these photos of myself, but I’m smiling because my husband is the best photographer: “You’re on the beach.  The sun in shining.  Oh, what’s that?  You tripped and fell over Thomas the Train in the middle of the living room floor.”         😉         )

Even my kids like to wear these sunglasses!

If the durability and the styles weren’t enough, check out the prices!  Most of them are under $20, some as low as $12.95.  And always keep your eyes peeled for a sale.  They have them often and throw in free shipping a lot, too (my favorite!).  Everyday shipping is only $2 which is still a great deal.  These prices are less than what I was paying to continuously replace my sunglasses at the drug store, they are waaaay cooler, and they have lasted me a whole year and counting!  I’m calling that a win-win-win.

Inspired Shades is definitely my go-to place for sunglasses.  Shopping with them is incredibly easy and I’ve been very happy with their products and prices.  Check them out on Facebook and Twitter to be the first to hear about their new styles and any sales.  Sometimes they even have giveaways.  Speaking of giveaway, Inspired Shades is generously offering one of my readers a pair of these Eva sunglasses for women in black!  I have them in brown and love them.  You can enter to win here!  This giveaway ends at 12 midnight ET on July 18, 2012.

I was provided with a pair of Inspired Shades sunglasses to facilitate this review.  The opinions in this post are 100% mine.  You can read my full disclosure policy here.
