I have a new Humane League of Lancaster County Pet of the Week to share. Look at this handsome boy! Meet Casper!
“Hi there! My name is Casper the Friendly Dog, as in “Casper the Friendly Ghost,” only don’t be afraid – I am as real as can be! I am about 10 months old and I recently made a long journey with some of my other dog friends from a shelter in North Carolina to come all the way to Lancaster to find a new home. My paperwork says that I am a Lab mix, but I only weigh 34 pounds, so my actual DNA is a bit of a mystery. What I can tell you is that I am one handsome pup and I have a great personality to compliment by adorable and charming good looks! I enjoy going for walks and love to race around the play yards here at the shelter. I also like to play with toys and you can often catch me flying by you with a toy held contentedly in my mouth. I have been out on play dates with other dogs and do well frolicking around with my dog friends. I would be a great companion for a variety of families, so I hope that you’ll come visit me soon! I would love to go home with you today so that we can start our new lives together!”
