I’ve got a new Humane League of Lancaster County Pet of the Week to introduce you to. Meet Chewbacca! My family LOVES Star Wars and this guy is just the best!
Whether you are a Star Wars fanatic or simply have a passing interest in the movie franchise, chances are you are a fan of Chewbacca! Chewbacca is a character who is easy to love for his fierce loyalty and companionship- attributes shared with our very own Chewbacca! Chewy is an energetic and playful three-year-old pit bull mix on the search for a new family. This happy pup can’t wait to be adopted into a family with older children or adults who will expand his knowledge of commands. He already knows how to sit, speak, and he gives both paws! With his athleticism, Chewy may even enjoy trying his paw at agility, accompanying you on a fun hike, or joining in on your daily walk or run. After his appetite for adventure is quelled, Chewy is always ready for quality snuggle time with his people. His previous owners reported he is already housebroken and crate trained. Come spend a little time getting to know Chewbacca, and find out if he is the co-pilot you’ve been missing in your life!
