Summer travel has me behind in sharing the Humane League of Lancaster County’s Pets of the Week with you so let’s catch up with the cuties from last week and this week.
Blackie will keep you entertained with his playful and vivacious personality! This spunky one-year-old boy feels like life is just too exciting to spend his days lazing about. He wants to run, play, explore and socialize the majority of his day! Blackie has lived with other cats during his stay at the shelter and he may be a good companion for another cat who will indulge his rambunctious style of play, or he would be happy as an only pet. Four months ago, Blackie was found as a stray and was brought to the shelter after his mother was tragically hit by a car. After a rough start in life, Blackie is seeking a loving and caring adult home with people who will pamper him and show him all the good things he deserves! Could you be the one to bring love and care to Blackie forever?

Look at that guy! He CUTE!
Blitz is an adorable six-year-old Boxer mix who is half ball of energy and half cuddly lap dog! He’s a busy boy who loves to play, but he’s also quite affectionate. He likes to hang out by your side and will even sit right in the middle of your lap from time to time. Blitz’s previous owners had to move away without him and now he’s looking for new people to share his life with. If you’ve been looking for a great companion dog, blitz down to the Humane League to meet this lovable boy today!
