If you know me or have followed my blog for any length of time you might know I’m a shoe addict. I just love shoes. And there’s nothing more exciting than finding an awesome new pair of shoes that you just can’t wait to wear. Though if you’re shopping at Havaianas like I have been, good luck narrowing it down. I want them all!
Summer sandals have to be my favorite footwear. Even in the winter months here in PA I like to run around the house in my flip flops. And I love having cute flip flops for different occasions: some that are perfect for the beach, some that go great with a cute sundress, some that are casual and simple and go with everything. Havaianas has them all and I seriously think I could spend hours shopping on their site!
Havaianas has been in the business of making stylish, comfortable, high-quality sandals since 1962. Their flip-flops were inspired by the Japanese sandals made of fabric straps and rice straw soles, which is why to this day each pair of Havaianas has a textured rice pattern on the sole. Pretty cool, right?! Over the years these sandals have grown in worldwide popularity and now even the celebs get special editions of Havaianas for being Oscar nominees!
You might thing they cost a fortune. You’d be wrong. I’d say the average price for women’s sandals is about $26. Some are higher, some are lower, but I can tell you I’ve definitely paid waaay more for cute summer shoes. Havaianas has a brand new 2013 collection with some styles that I love. This pair from the Slim Season set is awesome! I love the gold colored straps (wouldn’t that look great against a tan?!) and the floral designs and colors on the sole are so summery. Perfect! I love this pair and they’re only $26!
Havaianas makes shoes for men and kids, too. I love this pair from the new 2013 collection for men: Urban Style. It’s has a little bit of a wider strap, a double footbed, and that toe cut-out adds a unique detail. These look comfy and stylish. Only $34!
There’s really only one thing better than new shoes as a gift: a gift card to buy my own shoes. I would LOVE a Havaianas gift card in my stocking this year (hint, hint, hubs) and hint, hint to anyone else at a loss for a very cool gift: you can buy these on the Havaianas website. Giving anyone money to go shoe shopping is going to score you some serious points. You can buy gift cards ranging in value from $25 to $100. That is an easy, totally winning gift. Trust me. 😉
You know what else is pretty cool? Havaianas even has bridal sandals! If you’re getting married on the beach or just doing your own fun-loving thing you need to check these out. I’ll be honest: my heels were off by the time I hit the reception hall. I wish I had had a pair of these! They even make them for the entire wedding party. How cool is that?! Love it!
Havaianas has the coolest sandals for any occasion and for any person. I think I could lose myself for hours loading up my shopping cart on their site. Shop around and see what you’re favorite styles are, and feel free to forward this post to anyone who needs a hint about what to get you for Christmas, your birthday, Flag Day, whatever you might dream up. 🙂 After all, you never really need a reason to treat yourself to a new pair of stylin’ shoes.

Just about all of these would be a hit with my wife! She totally did the bridal sandals thing when we got married too! They weren’t as good looking as the ones you showed, but she gave a pair to each of her bridesmaids to wear while getting ready on our wedding day!
