What a fun, busy weekend we had! We checked off a bunch of things on our Summer Vacation List: watch fireworks, make s’mores, watch the stars come out, catch fireflies, cook out on the grill, and a few more, too. It was great, and now it’s time to get back in the normal swing of things, whatever that means over the summer!
We also took time this weekend to explain to the kids why July 4th is a holiday and what we’re celebrating. I’m so thankful to live in a free country, and so grateful to all the brave men and women who sacrifice so much to protect our freedom. To all who serve, both past and present, we salute you! Happy 4th of July!
