As a person with a major sweet tooth, I’m so glad to be able to bring you this review and giveaway. One of my favorite blogs that I’ve followed for a couple years now is Hoosier Homemade. Liz is the writer there and she’s got the most amazing inspiration when it comes to all things cupcakes (and more!). I subscribe to her Cupcake Chronicles newsletter and love all the fun ideas I find inside for cupcakes for each season and holiday. So I was super excited when Hoosier Homemade published an e-book, “Cupcakes! 12 Months of Happiness.” And I was even more excited to have the opportunity to review this yummy book!

My Mom is the best baker I know so when she came to visit this week we got busy trying out one of the awesome ideas we found in “Cupcakes!” just in time for St. Patty’s Day. And aren’t they soooo cute? I love them and my kids were wild about them! My version is a little different that what you’ll find in the book. I used a different kind of sprinkles to outline the edges because that’s what I had on hand, and as a frugal blogger I don’t want to have to go buy a ton of special gadgets and ingredients to make my goodies. And this is what I really LOVE about this e-book: it’s jam packed with inspiration. What you do with it is up to you! There are tons of ‘wow’ ideas that you can easily tweak to make your own, make a few changes here and there based on what ingredients you have on hand, or build on one idea to come up with a few of your own. One of my first thoughts with this cupcake was to use red instead of green next time and use the heart cut-outs to make some Valentine’s Day cupcakes!

If you have a sweet tooth and love to get creative in the kitchen you’ll love this book and now you’ll have a chance to win your own copy. One lucky reader is going to win a copy of “Cupcakes! 12 Months of Happiness.” Awesome! You just have to use the Rafflecopter below to enter. There’s only one mandatory entry: Visit Cupcake Heaven at Hoosier Homemade and tell me which of her cupcakes looks best to you! There are several ways to earn additional optional entries too. This giveaway will end at midnight EST on March 14. Can’t wait to check out this e-book? You can buy your own copy right here for just $4.99! It’s a great deal for a whole year of sweet inspiration.
Good luck!
I was provided with a copy of “Cupcakes! 12 Months of Happiness” to facilitate this review. The opinions in this post are 100% mine. You can read my full disclosure policy here.
