I love a good frozen pizza once in a while. It’s a lifesaver on a busy day, is it not? My kids just started up their spring sports and we’re running every night it seems so there are days when I need a quick fix for dinner. We’ve always loved Freschetta frozen pizzas. They have some great varieties, though all the kids care about is pepperoni! And now they have a great new Freschetta Gluten Free Pizza that is not only perfect for anyone with a gluten sensitivity, but really for the whole family. They’re delicious!
We made Freschetta Gluten Free Pizza for dinner the other night and the entire family loved it! It comes in two varieties: 4 Cheese Medley and Signature Pepperoni. This is a thin crust pizza which is our preference usually anyway. When the crust is too doughy somehow it ends up being fed to the dog in our house. He doesn’t complain but it’s just too much bread for the rest of us so the thin crust goes over better.
We loved the light crust and tasty sauce. The cheese on this pizza is a 100 percent real premium blend of cheese toppings, including mozzarella, fontina, parmesan and Asiago. Yum! The kids gobbled it right up and it was perfectly quick right before soccer practice. I did have a little trouble finding this gluten free pizza at my local store. I had to hit a different grocery store that carried it but I suspect that’s because it’s a new product and might just not be stocked yet. Look for it at your local grocers. Freschetta Gluten Free Pizza retails for $9.99 (though it was only $8.49 at my store!).
