TGIF! Hope you all had a great week! It’s time for another Free Friday Nook Book. Today’s pick is Sanctus by Simon Toyne. From Nook: The whole world is watching when a cloistered monk in modern day Turkey plunges to his death in front of television cameras. The monk’s act of defiance sets off a frenzy to discover what secrets lie behind the ancient walls, and why he sacrificed his life to put an end to them. When the monk is identified, American journalist Liv Adamsen is shocked to discover that he’s the brother she’d written off as dead long ago. Her reporter’s instincts send her to investigate the secretive world her brother inhabited, and soon she’s battling a group of deadly monks who will go to any extreme to protect their millennia-old secret. What do you think? This isn’t one I’d normally pick up but I think it looks pretty intriguing and it gets good reviews. I think I’ll grab it! You can read more about it on the Barnes and Noble Nook Blog, then follow this link to download your free copy of Sanctus.

What are you reading?
What are you reading right now? I just finished Hopeless by Colleen Hoover. LOVED this book. If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it. It’s a romance of sorts but the story is just amazing. I’ve picked up Dirty Red to read next. This is the second in a series and I read The Opportunist, book 1, a while back and loved it. The writing style is great. This book has me cracking up!
