It’s that time again! Time for Tootise, our Elf on the Shelf to make his debut and keep watch over the kids. That time otherwise known as I-can’t-believe-you’re-acting-like-that-with-Tootsie-watching-he’s-going-to-tell-Santa. Let’s face it. Parents need a little help this time of year and that help comes in the form of a little red elf. If you don’t have one, I highly recommend it. Not only does he help keep the kids in line, he’s a lot of fun to get creative with!
Tootsie comes back around on Black Friday in our house so we saw him this morning for the first time this year. Apparently the Rainbow Loom craze has struck the North Pole and he was pretty overzealous about diving into my kids’ stash of bracelets. We found him covered in them and there was a trail of bracelets on the floor leading to his hiding spot. Messy little guy.
Later in the day I found this note next to Tootsie. How cute! But now I need to remember to move the elf and write notes in an elf’s handwriting. Elf responsibilities keep piling up here.
Come back and visit tomorrow to see Tootsie’s next adventure! You can find all my past Elf on the Shelf posts here. Follow my Elf on the Shelf board on Pinterest to get even more ideas, and if you don’t have an elf for your family, get one on Amazon. We have TONS of fun with our elf!
