It took the kids a little while to find Tootsie this morning. He was in the dog house. Literally. Looks like he found a buddy to chill out with last night and thought he’d be safe here from little fingers. I can tell you my dog was NOT happy to have this intruder in his shed. (I should state here that we don’t keep our dog in this cage. He only goes in here when he’s on a time out for having pooped on the floor. Thankfully he hasn’t been in there for a long time. *Knocking on wood.*)

I like that freaky orange dog toy with Tootsie. They look like a good pair, don’t they? I’m still wondering why Tootsie put himself in the dog house. Seems like it might be a metaphor for something. I can’t quite put my finger on it.
😉
Come see me again tomorrow to find out what Tootsie’s up to! You can find all my past Elf on the Shelf posts here. Follow my Elf on the Shelf board on Pinterest to get even more ideas, and if you don’t have an elf for your family, get one on Amazon. This is by far them most FUN family Christmas tradition we have!

Love it 🙂 How did the donuts work out? Today, our elf Ziggy was in the fridge holding a package of ready to make Mickey Christmas Cookies 😉 Took a little bit of knocking on the side of the fridge (little stinker got himself stuck!) for him to figure out he was in there but then again he is only 3 🙂

I love it! That’s a great idea. And Ziggy is the cutest elf name!
