Look where we found Tootsie this morning! Isn’t he cute, with his big cuppa hot cocoa stuffed to the brim with marshmallows? I like all the cocoa powder and mini marshmallows all over his plate. He even managed to get some on his tiny toes. My daughter found him this morning and was SO excited to see what he’d gotten into. Two minutes later she scolded him,”I hope you’re planning to clean up that mess, Tootsie!” *Tears* All my harassing my kids to clean up after themselves has sunk in at least to some extent. So proud.
My little boy, Leo, on the other hand, was concerned that Tootsie wasn’t really drinking his hot chocolate. So maybe he didn’t actually need all those big marshmallows. Maybe he even meant to share them. I didn’t want the kids to see the crumbled up napkins I shoved in the bottom of the mug hiding underneath them so I said they were for Tootsie alone, but the tiny marshmallows on the plate were fair game. Say no more. They’re GONE (and so is all the hot cocoa mix)!
Come see me again tomorrow to find out what Tootsie’s up to! You can find all my past Elf on the Shelf posts here. Follow my Elf on the Shelf board on Pinterest to get even more ideas, and if you don’t have an elf for your family, get one on Amazon. This is by far them most FUN family Christmas tradition we have!
