Disney On Ice Rockin’ Ever After: Groovin’ With Your Favorite Disney Characters!

This post may contain affiliate links. View my disclosure policy for details.

Disney movies always have the best songs, don’t they?  I catch myself singing them more times than I care to admit.  So you can imagine that watching your favorite Disney characters sing all these awesome songs while they’re ice skating is pretty amazing.  Last night we took the kids to see Disney on Ice Rockin’ Ever After and it was a fantastic show!

Hosting the fun are everyone’s favorite Disney classic characters, Minnie and Mickey Mouse along with Donald and Goofy.  Goofy’s antics got an audible laugh out of my 3 year-old son.  That had to be my favorite part: watching my kids’ faces.  They loved the show and were just mesmerized when all their favorite movies came to life.

The Little Mermaid performance was one of our favorites.  Sebastian is just the coolest crab and all the sea creatures skating around singing Under the Sea with black lights on was awesome!  That Ariel can sure skate!  At one point she was even hanging from a rope way up high over the ice.  These skaters are seriously talented and entertaining.

My son is a big Flynn Rider fan and got a huge kick out of Maximus the skating horse.  And man, that Mother Gothel is a meanie even on ice!  When they lit up the sky with floating lights my kids were amazed.

This is the first Disney on Ice show we’ve seen with Merida from Brave in it.  She was so fun to watch.  The Scottish  music had everyone’s toes tapping and there were some really cool special effect with those bows and arrows!

Everyone loves Beauty and the Beast but I have to say, Gaston really shined in this performance despite being the ‘bad guy’.  He was totally cool if you ask me.     😉

If you’re one of my local Central PA readers, Disney on Ice is showing NOW at the Giant Center in Hershey.  Tickets are still available for shows this weekend, November 2-4.   If you don’t have plans, definitely check it out.  Your kids will love it and I may have had just as much fun as they did!  This show is just as entertaining for adults as it is for kids.  The sets are incredible and the way they change everything out so seamlessly from one scene to the next…it’s a class act.

Find Disney on Ice on Facebook and Twitter to be the first to know when a new show is coming to a town near you!  You can check out the Disney on Ice website, too, for some great videos of their shows and a complete list of showtimes and tickets.  We’ve taken our kids to three different Disney on Ice shows and always have a great time.  The skating talent, the music, the lights and props, it all comes together for an amazing show giving us some great family memories.  If there’s a show near you, don’t miss it!

I was provided with complimentary tickets to a Disney on Ice show to facilitate this review.  The opinions in this post are 100% mine.  You can read my full disclosure policy here.

That looks like SO much fun. I love ice skating, and Disney paired with ice skating has to be even better. I know my daughter would love if she could see a show too! Too bad Disney on Ice doesn’t make its way up here. Maybe one year we’ll make an overnight trip to a place where they perform. Great pictures too!
