Does this not sound like the perfect family movie? A road trip gone awry? I think we can all relate on some level. Looks hilarious!

I can’t really think of anything as bad as what happens in this movie trailer!! I would have to say the worst part would be the airlines losing our luggage and at the time we were traveling with our infant son.

On our last road trip I booked the hotel through an online service. Sure enough when we got there they had no record of it. We ended up driving to a nearby city and staying at a different hotel. Then the service tried to charge us for a no show. It was a pain in the butt to get straightened out.

My sister and I were driving back into the United States from Canada and ended up in the wrong car line. We went through the Duty Free line and they made us park and go inside while they searched our car. The flack jackets and rifles were a little disconcerting but it only took 30 min. instead of an hour waiting in the car queue. I wouldn’t recommend it! We did get a good laugh about it after the fact.

We had planned a vacation to Cape Cod, rented a house, and at the last minute my husband couldn’t go. I loaded four kids into the car, pregnant with the fifth and drove all the way to the Cape exhausted. First day locked the keys, purse, and SUNSCREEN in the trunk at the beach. Waited three hours for the locksmith to arrive. 90 degrees on asphalt. Had to bite the bullet and beg another mother for sunscreen for the kids. Second day, sliced my hand cutting bagels. Third day, almost lost one kid at the petting zoo. Fourth day, CRIED!

My family went on a canoe/camping trip, the in laws even went along. My boys were 1 and 6 at the time. My husband and I had the baby with us while our other son rode with grandma and grandpa. After our canoe tipped over, we gathered everything up and decided it was best for the baby to ride with grandma and grandpa. Their canoe tipped over, the baby was fine, his brother was screaming the canoe was a death trap. Some young men helped them right the canoe and gave up a sweatshirt to keep the baby warm. My husband and I were so far behind because we got ran into and tipped again. That was the last time we’ve gone canoeing. Thankfully we still love to camp and recount this trip to all our friends and family around the campfire.

on a road trip we took , we drove 15 hours and on the way back we blew out our muffler. that made the ride really loud but then to top it off we lost our brakes temporarily. luckily my husband is a mechanic and his grandfather happened to pass on some tools to him during our trip so he was able to fix our breaks in a parking lot.

We have to drive to the airport to catch a flight to NYC. The airport is almost two hours away and on our way to the airport, we realized that we forgot my hubby’s wallet, so we turn around and head back home. Only to hit traffic and delayed our trip by a whole day.

Yes, I had! It was 2 years ago on our Las Vegas vacation, we all missed our flights, needed to stay there one more day. and bought 8 new tickets to fly home. The reason was we lost on the way to return our rental car 🙁
