Daily’s Cocktails: Who Says Summer Is Over?!

October 7, 2012

It’s pretty darn chilly here in Pennsylvania today and fall is definitely in the air.  I love this time of year myself, but summer is just the best, isn’t it?  Of the many things I love about summer, one is hanging out with my bestie (or my husband, who also happens to be a bestie) sipping a sweet drink.  It just screams ‘summer.’  While I love an icy drink I really think it’s a pain to haul out the blender to  make daiquiris  so I was pretty thrilled to discover Daily’s Cocktails.  Raising your glass with your girls has never been tastier or easier.

Daily’s Cocktails are packaged mixed drinks, alcohol already included.  You  just freeze the pouches for 8 hours and then drink up.  Nothing to mix or measure, no blender needed, no mess.  And they come in the best flavors like Strawberry Daiquiri, Margarita, Lemonade and Pina Colada, plus more, 7 in all!  What’s even better is that they’ve got two new flavors just for fall: Hard Cider and Spiced Sangria.  Wow, I love Sangria.  I’m definitely going to have to try that one!

I picked my Daily’s up at the liquor store but if they sell alcohol in stores in your state, look for them in Walmart or use their store locator.  They were only $2.99 at my store and even the older man at the checkout said to me, “Oh have you tried these yet?  People love them!”  I can see why!  Strawberry Daiquiri is my favorite so far and I love how quick and easy it is to serve.

I put my Daily’s Cocktails in the freezer last night and though it says they freeze in 8 hours, I think they may have been frozen before then.  I didn’t dig in until this afternoon and I had to run the bag under some hot water at the sink for maybe 30 seconds before I was able to squeeze the bag enough to break the frozen drink apart and make it pourable.  I got 2 glasses out of one pouch, so figure that’s $1.50 per drink.  Not bad at all, and I’m telling you, they’re worth it.  Delish!

Check out Daily’s Cocktails on Facebook and Twitter and on Pinterest for some awesome recipes and really cool girls’ night ideas!  And if you want some awesome recipe ideas, check out their website.  You won’t believe how many ways you can snaz up these cocktails!  Who says summer is over?  And if it is for you, you’re still in luck with Daily’s new fall flavors that can be served frozen or warm.  Mmm… I can’t wait to try them!

Hehehe – I love your glass! I’ve tried these before and thought they were great. I think Strawberry Daiquiri is also my favorite. Thanks for the review and giveaway!
