So, summer has gotten the best of me as it usually does. I’ve been a coupon slacker in my favorite place to grab the best deals: CVS. I’ve had a $10 CVS gift card in my coupon binder for ages that I earned doing a deal a while back and just haven’t mustered up the stamina to get myself into a CVS lately. But, summer is almost over and it’s time to get back in the swing. CVS couponing hiatus: later, gator!
I took my $10 CVS gift card into the store and here’s the deal I worked:
Buy $30 worth of participating P&G products, get $10 ECB!
Buy 4 Aussie or Herbal Essence Shampoo or Conditioner, $11.94
Buy 4 Secret Deodorant, $10
Buy 6 Puffs Plus Tissues, $9
Subtotal = $30.94
Use two $3/2 Aussie or Herbal Essence (8/5 RP)
Use two $1/2 Secret Deodorant (7/29 PG)
Use one $1/6 Puffs (7/29 PG)
= $21.94, get $10 ECB
I paid with my $10 gift card and out-of-pocket for the balance which was about $13 after tax. Then I got my $10 ECB plus $2 Spring Rewards which I wasn’t expecting. So next week I’ll have $12 in ECB to go shopping with. Pretty nice deal!
