I love a beautiful piece of jewelry that just says ‘ME.’ One year my husband got me a necklace with a shoe pendant and I fell in love all over again. *shoes* Having a pretty, classy piece of jewelry that reflects your style and the things you love just feels special, doesn’t it? I recently discovered and came to love Chamilia Jewelry and if you’re looking for a special and personalized gift for this holiday season, I found it for you.
Chamilia sells classic looking necklaces and bracelets and you can add beads to them to customize them as your own. It’s a simple concept, yet I want you to know I shopped for over two hours for one bead. Look, they have 47 pages of beads to shop through. Forty. Seven. Pages. And I looked through each one. I wanted them all. Okay, not all, but I found a solid handful that I fell in love with. Chamilia has their beads organized into themes: birthstone, career, Disney characters, family, hobbies, sports, pets, and more. You can also sort by color and material. So the things that are important to you can be carried with you everywhere. I love the idea of honoring my kids, my husband, my hobbies and all of the things that I hold dear on one seriously stylin’ piece of jewelry on my wrist.
This is the bracelet I created. I got this beautiful Silver Snap Bracelet and started off with one charm. I spent a solid hour looking through all the charms, had my husband up and down twice to look at the finalists, messaged about three friends on Facebook to ask their opinions, and in the end I chose this Aqua Reef bead. We’re a family of beach bums and this bead reminds me of warmer weather and the blue ocean. Any reminder of the sunshine and a vacation during the winter is more than welcome. And this bead is even more beautiful in person than it looks online. It’s such a vibrant color and it’s the perfect size to be noticeable without being bulky.
I love the bracelet itself, too. It’s a classic design and to me the clasp actually almost looks like another charm! The way it clasps is pretty unique. It opens up and you need to slip the ball end of the bracelet inside of the clasp, then close it up. It’s a bit tricky to do one-handed so I needed a little help from the kids or husband the first few times I wore it. Then I got the hang of it and I can swing it by myself. That works for me since that also means this guy isn’t going to open up and fall off my wrist. It’s definitely secure and has to be the most attractive bracelet clasp I’ve ever seen. Better than a metal hook for sure. It comes in the pretty little pouch pictured above so you have a safe place to keep it when you’re not wearing it.
Now, obviously the one thing I LOVE about Chamilia jewelry is the fact that you can constantly add to it! You’ll never be at a loss for gift ideas again and you’ll always have a special piece of jewelry you can buy for that certain someone without worrying you’re making the wrong choice. I want to note here that the bracelets come in different sizes and they suggest that you measure your wrist and then add an inch to allow room for the beads. This is a good rule of thumb that worked well for me. My wrist measures about 6.5″ so I went with the 7.5″ bracelet. While it seems maybe slightly loose now (definitely not fall-off loose, just a hanging a bit low), I think it’s going to be perfect when I get more beads on there. Speaking of more beads, if I got to design my dream bracelet these are the beads I’d choose. (Paging my husband: are you reading this??)
Chamilia Jewelry is not only beautiful, it’s meaningful. Choose the beads that mean something to you, the pieces that represent what’s important to you. I love this for a gift idea for any occasion and new beads make great gifts for some of those smaller holidays and milestones throughout the year.
Be sure to follow Chamilia on Facebook and Twitter to be the first to hear about their latest products and promotions. Then shop around on Chamilia and design the bracelet you’d like to give or receive. Hey, I’ll be here when you’re done in two hours. 🙂
I was provided with a complimentary Chamilia bracelet to facilitate this review. The opinions in this post are 100% mine. You can read my full disclosure policy here.

Ok, this is super fun because it doesn’t have to remain the same piece of jewelry forever. You can change it on a whim! Make it chunky, make it streamlined, make it themed for a holiday…oh the possibilities! Love it!

I have an old school charm bracelet that DH used to buy charms for me on special occasions. This would be a great way to update that tradition. Thanks!

I already have one of these bracelets and love it! My husband got it for me for Mother’s Day, along with a charm with my daughter’s birthstone. He’s bought me one more charm since…and I’m looking forward to getting my third charm when our baby girl is born next month 🙂
