Whether you’re shopping to outfit the kitchen in a new home, or just upgrade your currently appliances, a black stainless finish is all the rage right now. And no wonder: it’s gorgeous. Black stainless appliances get noticed. That bold black hue and the contemporary brushed metal appearance of stainless steel is unique in a way that makes a statement. And moms, it won’t leave fingerprints. Hallelujah! This finish is fingerprint resistant and very easy to keep clean.
It’s Classy
The black stainless finish is super classy, a major step up from colors like ‘bisque’ that I was looking at when we designed our home kitchen. I think this look will stand the test of time because of its curb appeal: it just looks sophisticated and sleek.
It’s Versatile
Whatever your kitchen decor right now, black stainless will match. In the photo above, you can see the cupboards are backsplash tiling are all white. The contrasting appliances look great. We have a darker kitchen in my house, with regular black finish appliances, and switching to black stainless would match equally as well but add tons of class to the look.
