I didn’t used to think much about Energy Star certified appliances until we had to replace our washing machine 2 months ago. Since then I noticed that our bills actually went down by a noticeable sum! My wife and I decided it’s probably time to also replace our fridge (because it’s almost 15 years old!) so I’m looking into options.
