My daughter and I carried out act #3 of our #26acts of kindness in honor of the victims on Newtown a couple of days ago when we went through the drive-through at McDonald’s. We bought lunch for the lady in the car behind us. I honestly think this might be the coolest thing I’ve ever done. Definitely one of the best uses of $7 that I can think of. The look on her face in my rear view mirror while she was smiling and waving and honking her horn was totally priceless. And my daughter saying from the back seat, “Mommy, she’s smiling!” was pretty darn awesome too. Why have I never done this before?!
If you’re on Twitter or Instagram you should take some time to look through the #26acts hashtags. The kindness people are showing random strangers will bring tears to your eyes. It’s incredible. Read more about where this idea came from in my first #26acts post, and find all of my #26acts posts here to give you some ideas on how you can join in and pay it forward! And please comment, tweet me, post on my Facebook wall, or email me at pandorasdeal (at) gmail (dot) com and tell me about your #26acts! I’d love to share them with my readers and get inspired by your acts of kindness!
