The Peanuts Movie came out in theaters in November and is now available to own on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD. As a Peanuts Ambassador we were sent a really fun Family Movie Night kit from the folks at Fox Home Entertainment and just had our viewing party this past weekend! First of all, we LOVE family movie night. And secondly, this is the absolute perfect movie for the entire crowd!

One of my favorite things as a mom is sharing with my the things I loved when I was little, too. The Peanuts gang is certainly one of those things and while we didn’t make it to the theater to see this one (the holidays are so busy!) I’m so glad we have it as part of our home collection. I love the style of the movie. It feels modern with bright colors yet it’s simple, which is what I love about Charlie Brown. No crazy special effects, just a sweet story with lovable characters and lessons that are timeless.

Our Review

We loved it! This is truly an adorable movie. Poor Charlie Brown can’t catch a break but the new little red haired girl takes notice when he thinks she’s not watching, and she sees him for who he really is: the gem we all know and love. Besides being a great story about never giving up, being a good friend, and focusing on what really matters, we LAUGHED. A lot. My kids and I were cracking up at so many different parts of the movie!

It’s just an overall great family film and one you definitely want to snuggle up with the kids to watch for your own Family Movie Night this spring! You can grab your own copy of The Peanuts Movie to enjoy with your family too!

    I’m going to watch the movie with my family. My mom grew up watching this and got me hooked on the show when I was little. Her favorite is the Valentines one. I like the Thanksgiving one. This would be nice to win. Thanks for the chance 🙂
