Still Sippin’ on Summer With Snapple Straight Up Tea™

I'm not ready to let summer go just yet. Something about the taste of this Snapple Straight Up Tea™ brings back the sun (even in the winter!).

We just set the clocks back last weekend and it’s getting dark sooo early. It feels like winter is coming too fast. But Mother Nature had a special treat in store for us in PA this week. It’s supposed to be 77 degrees tomorrow and I’m like YES! I’m not letting go of summer just yet!

So before I huddle up with hot chocolate, I’m still sipping on summer with this delicious Snapple Straight Up Tea™. It’s the perfect afternoon pick-me-up for me, especially now that it gets dark at noon. Okay, close enough. It perks me right up and basically saves the second half of my day when productivity doesn’t always come naturally.

I hit my local Giant Food Stores last weekend go get groceries and found Snapple Straight Up Tea™ on sale, only $1 per bottle. Yaaasss. Love a good deal! And there’s more than one glass worth in these bottles so it’s actually an even better deal that it appears to be.

There are three different levels of sweetness with this tea, so I grabbed a couple of each. I like sweetened tea and wanted to see what the difference was between the Sweet and Sorta Sweet, and my husband tends to like his tea unsweetened.

Before I give your our taste test results, let me tell you that this tea is REALLY good. It doesn’t taste overly sweet (none of the varieties) or artificial. Makes sense since the only ingredients are freshly-brewed black tea sweetened with a touch of real sugar. Mmm…tastes like summer with that brewed tea taste.

The Sweet Snapple Straight Up Tea™ is the most sweet of the varieties. The Sorta Sweet is also sweetened, but with less sugar. This one was my favorite! The Sweet tea wasn’t what I’d call overly sweet, but I personally don’t drink much of anything other than water and coffee, so I don’t have a taste for anything super sweet.

Just a tad of sugar is my sweet spot! The Sorta Sweet is only 90 calories per serving – and the entire bottle is a serving! If you do like it a little more sweet, that variety is 180 calories per bottle. And of course the Unsweetened tea? ZERO calories!

My husband liked the Unsweetened Snapple Straight Up Tea™ as predicted, but I think he actually leaned toward the Sorta Sweet for his favorite too. Delish!

Hit your local Giant Food Stores and look for Snapple Straight Up Tea™ to hang onto summer with me! I’ll be drinking this even when they’re snow on the ground. Never say die, summer.  Cheers!
