October 29 is the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Sandy. Hard to believe it’s been almost a year already. Save the Children has done some amazing work to help the kids affected by the Hurricane. Here’s a great video to show some of the aftermath and where things stand one year later.
This is a great time to remember to get your own family prepared for an emergency. Below you’ll find a helpful infographic, and you can print some checklists on the Save the Children website.

Take this time to get your family prepared for an emergency. And don’t forget about your kids’ schools and childcare centers. Do they have a plan? Share this checklist with them and offer to get the ball rolling to get them prepared should disaster strike.
